While on a break from her Washington DC congressional duties, District 6 Congressional Representative Emily Randall stopped by for a visit with the Staff and several Directors of NeighborWorks of Grays Harbor.

We had invited her to stop by our office if she was ever in town and she took us up on our offer. We had a very nice meeting discussing housing issues that included rental costs, mortgage financing, home repair and rehab costs and Down Payment Assistance programs.
​
Representative Randall was also able to see our Sunrise Court apartment complex while she was here.

Neighborworks bridging gaps for prospective homeowners
In late January, the Washington State Department of Commerce announced investments of $17.95 million in 17 projects aiming to create affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income households, including an infusion of $500,000 for Neighborworks of Grays Harbor County’s down payment assistance program.
